NORTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT
Police Chief Steve Scibelli was hired by the City of North Bend in August 2001. Chief Scibelli came to the department from Kelso Washington where he had served his entire law enforcement career.
Chief Scibelli is married to wife Jeanette and they have four grown children.
The North Bend Police Department's
number one emphasis is enforcing the Oregon State laws, North Bend
City ordinances, traffic laws, and investigating suspected crimes.
When asked about his
personal goals for the Police Department, Chief Scibelli stated
“our future is dependent on our ability to continue to improve
and adapt to change. We will strive to serve our citizens and deliver
safety and quality service to our customers.”
Chief Scibelli feels
that the North Bend Police Department members recognize their responsibility
to maintain order, while affording dignity and respect to every
individual, and that North Bend has a wonderful quality of life.

Police services are operating 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
