The City of North Bend has employed building Official Steve Werst since July 2004. Mr. Werst came to the city with over 12 years of State Building Official experience. Steve has lived in the Bay Area with his wife Barbara and their four children since1992.

The Building Department provides building codes enforcement, nuisance abatement, and assisting other departments in serving the citizens of North Bend.

A personal goal for the Building Department is to provide better service by becoming more efficient through computerized records keeping.

Positive input from the Building Department is a dedication to assisting contractors and homeowners with their construction projects.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Closed on Holidays.
